ಅಶ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ಪಾದ ತೊಳೆಯಲಂಜುವೆ ತಾಯಿ

 

ಅಶ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ಪಾದ ತೊಳೆಯಲಂಜುವೆ ತಾಯಿ

ಕ್ಷುದ್ರನ ಅಶ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ಮಲಿನವಾಗುವುದೆ ಎಂದು

ಮೂಢ ರಾಮ ನಾ ತಾಯಿ ಅಹಂಕಾರವ ನೋಡು

ಜಗದ ಮಲಿನ ತೊಳೆವವಳ ಪಾದ ತೊಳೆಯೆ ನಾನಾರು

ನಿನ್ನ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದಿದನರಿತೆನು ತಾಯಿ

ಅಶ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ಪಾದಗಳ ತೊಳೆದು ಶುಭ್ರ

ವಾಗುವುದು ಪದಕಮಲವಲ್ಲ ನಾನೆಂದು.

Washing your feet with tears it is not

your lotus feet that are cleaned, but I!
