ಸೀತಾ ರಕ್ಷಾ ಕವಚ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ

 

ಸಹಸ್ರಾವಣ ಸಂಹಾರಿಯೆ ಶಿವಧನು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ವಿಹಾರಿಯೆ

ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯ ಹಿಮವಾಗಿಸಿ ಹನುಮನ ನಲಿಸಿದ ಅಗ್ನಿಸ್ವಾಮಿನಿಯೆ

ತಾಯಿಯೂ ನೀನೆ ತಂದೆಯೂ ನೀನೆ ದಾರಿತೋರಿದ ಗುರುವೂ ನೀನೆ

ಕುಡಿಕೆಯಲಿ ಮೂಳೆ ಮಾಂಸಗಳ ತುಂಬಿದ ಜೀವದಾನಿ ತಾಯಿಯೆ

ದೇಹದಿ ಪ್ರಾಣ ವಾಯುಗಳ ಉಸುರಿದ ಪ್ರಾಣದಾತ ತಂದೆಯೆ

ಮನದಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವ ತುಂಬಿ ಅಜ್ಞಾನವ ತೊಲಗಿಸಿದ ಶ್ರೀಗುರುವೆ

ನಾಮಜಪವ ಕರುಣಿಸಿ ಕವಚವಾದ ತಾಯಿ ವಜ್ರಗರಿಕಾಂಬಿಕೆಯೆ

ಸೀತಾ ನಾಮಸ್ಮರಣೆಯೇ ಅಭಯ ಜಾನಕೀ ನಾಮಜಪವೇ ವಜ್ರಕವಚ

ಜಗಜ್ಜನನಿ ಜಗತ್ಪಾಲಕಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತೆ ಮಹಾಮಾಯೆ ಮಹಾಮಾತೆಯೆ

ದುಷ್ಟಹರೆ ಅಭಯದಾತೆ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಸುವ ಕರುಣಾಮಯಿಯೆ

ಭವಭಯಹರಣಿ ಸರ್ವದುಃಖ ನಿವಾರಿಣಿ ನಮ್ಮಯ ಪಾಲಿಸು ದಯಾಮಯಿಯೆ

ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರವಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ನಿನ್ನೀ ರಕ್ಷಾಕವಚವು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿ ತಾಯಿ

ಮೂಢರಾಮನು ಸದಾ ಸೀತಾದೇವಿ ಸೇವಕನು

ಸರ್ವಂ ಸೀತಾಕೃತಮಸ್ತು ಸರ್ವಂ ಸೀತಾರ್ಪಣಮಸ್ತು

Sītā rakṣā kavaca stōtra sahasrāvaṇa sanhāriye śivadhanu krīḍā vihāriye jvāleya himavāgisi hanumana nalisida agnisvāminiye tāyiyū nīne tandeyū nīne dāritōrida guruvū nīne kuḍikeyali mūḷe mānsagaḷa tumbida jīvadāni tāyiye dēhadi prāṇa vāyugaḷa usurida prāṇadāta tandeye manadali jñānava tumbi ajñānava tolagisida śrīguruve nāmajapava karuṇisi kavacavāda tāyi vajragarikāmbikeye sītā nāmasmaraṇeyē abhaya jānakī nāmajapavē vajrakavaca jagajjanani jagatpālaki sr̥ṣṭikarte mahāmāye mahāmāteye duṣṭahare abhayadāte iṣṭārtha sid'dhisuva karuṇāmayiye bhavabhayaharaṇi sarvaduḥkha nivāriṇi nam'maya pālisu dayāmayiye ninninda mātraviruva nanna ninnī rakṣākavacavu rakṣisali tāyi mūḍharāmanu sadā sītādēvi sēvakanu sarvaṁ sītākr̥tamastu sarvaṁ sītārpaṇamastu -------Rāmān̄janēya

Sitadevi raksha kavacha stotra

 

Killer of the thousand headed Ravana,

who sports with the  mighty bow of Shiva,

You gladdened Hanuman,

making flame cool as ice, O master of fire

You are the mother, you are the father,

you are the guru who shows the path,

You are the life giving mother

who filled the vessel of the body

with flesh and blood,

You are the breath bestowing father

who breathed into this body

life sustaining breaths,

You are the supreme guru

who filled me with true knowledge

and drove away my ignorance,

You are Mother Vajragarikambika

who in eternal kindness granted us

the armour of your name-chanting

Life giver to the whole world

protector and nurturer of this world

the cause of all creation

and all illusion, great Mother,

Defeater of evil, sanctuary of all

wish fulfilling benevolence,

Remover of all fears and sorrows

abode of kindness, in your care are we,

I, who am of you, for you

may this stotra of yours protect me

like a protective armour,

Though ignorant, I am forever

a servant of you divine Seetadevi
